That's Why

Today, Bob flushed money down the toilet.. Literally.
 Why you may be asking?
Because- " Its my damn money and I'll be damned if anyone else is going to use it."
Thats why!  :(

Its On Tap.

I got up this morning to the tap in the bathroom running again this morning. Pretty sure my water bill is going to be horrendous this next billing.  Bob still gets up in the middle of the night to "take care of business" and I think its awesome that he can still do that and think to wash his hands when he is done. BUT- he never seems to turn the water off. Notes go unread so that is of no use. Normally I can hear the water running. Now with the fans cooling the house at night I dont. I'm guessing that water ran from around 3:00 or 3:30 this morning- Until I got up at 5:30..
Dollars down the drain. Wonder if you can get those auto off taps that you see in restaurant and airport bathrooms.. Yea-- thats what I need --One of those.

Shattered Deams

Very early this morning I had a dream in which Bob had died, and I woke up in tears.  I laid there, staring at the ceiling, and thinking of how I was eventually going to have to learn to live without him for the rest of my life.  The dreams, the trips, the retirement  plans we had  talked about for years now just a blip of distant memory. I feel like I am being robbed of my future- Our Future.  Between the high cost of medical  and Bobs discomfort  in strange places, the plans & trips we spent so much time researching ...will never be made. I hate this disease.

Cash in Hand

Yesterday I mentioned that Bob carries around his pocket money in his hand for about 80% of the day..Literally... He will hold onto that money and move it from his shoe, to his sock, then to his pocket and then back to his hand. I have tried to get him to put it somewhere"safe.. Like the Dresser, or the safe, or a wooden box he keeps some odds and ends in... When I bring it up He will put the money in his pocket- but within a minute he will have it back out. I cant even imagine how much brain power it is taking for him to keep track of that "money"..
Anyway- Today I tried to force him  strongly suggest that he put the money in the safe so he could quit thinking and worrying about it all the time..
He said-- " NO-- absolutely not"- - - -"I am going to sell it."

Okee Dokee then!
