The Bench

When Brian was in high school he made me a very cool laser cut bench in metal shop. It has bears on the back rest and bear Paws on the leg stands. He gave it to me for Mother's day and it is one of my very favorite things he has ever given me. It sits on the deck just like a park bench.
Today Bob announced that he was giving the bench to his older sister because it was a family heirloom from his great great grandma..
I said- No Bob its not-- Brian made that for me when he was in high school. It was a Mother's day present.
Bob became rather upset and said- " NO its not- My great great grandmother made it....
You would think I would learn to just agree right? I said NO Bob-- you are wrong-- look-- this is all laser cut metal.. too which he replied.. My great grandmother invented Lasers.... Okee dokee then..
